Abstract:
This article supplying apparatus comprises a retaining part for retaining an article to be inserted, a robot hand for inserting the article retained in the retaining part into a container, and a control unit for controlling the operation of the robot hand. The robot hand has a holding part for holding the article. The control unit carries out holding control for causing the article retained in the retaining part to be held by the holding part and waiting-and-insertion control for, in a state where the article is held by the holding part, causing the holding part to be temporarily positioned at a waiting position that is different from the position directly above an article insertion opening of the container and is set on a movement path from the position where the holding operation starts in the holding control and the position directly above the article insertion opening and then moving the holding part to the position directly above the article insertion opening and inserting the article into the container through the article insertion opening.
