Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the setup time required for the altering of kind of handling material by using an integrated type surge tank which has a supply feeder being allowed to be loaded on or unloaded from the main body of a weighing apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of stock tanks 10 arranged to store several kinds of chemicals as compounding agents beforehand are set in standby within a storage zone. When a powdery or granular solid material is weighed, at least one or more tanks 10 housing chemicals of kinds necessary for blending or mixing are taken out from the plurality of tanks 10 set in standby within the storage zone. The minimum necessary number of the tanks for one weighing is mounted on the main body 23 of a weighing apparatus separately while a drive mechanism 14 of a supply feeder 15 provided on the tanks 10 is connected to a drive means 24 provided on the main body 23 in linkage. Then, the feeder 15 is driven through the means 24 based on a weighing signal from a controller 30 to supply the chemicals of kinds housed in the tanks 10 to the main body 23 to weigh them. This shortens the setup time required for the altering of kinds of material.
