Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence device for controlling an auto-stop function, the artificial intelligence device comprising: an input unit for receiving at least one of image information relating to the periphery of a vehicle, sound information relating to the periphery of the vehicle, brake information of the vehicle, and speed information of the vehicle; a storage unit for storing an auto-stop function control model; and a processor for obtaining input data related to at least one of traffic information and driving information through the input unit, obtaining base data used to determine the control of the auto-stop function from the input data, determining an engine ignition time point or whether to ignite an engine by using the base data and the auto-stop function control model, and automatically igniting the engine of the vehicle according to the determined engine ignition time point or the determination on whether to ignite the engine, wherein the engine ignition time point refers to how long will it take when the engine is to be ignited after the input data is obtained or from the time point of the determination, and whether to ignite the engine refers to whether to ignite the engine at the time point when the input data is obtained or at the time point of the determination.
