Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence device for controlling an auto-stop function, the artificial intelligence device comprising: an input unit for receiving at least one of image information and sound information relating to the periphery of a vehicle; a communication unit for receiving data from an external device; a storage unit for storing an auto-stop function control model; and a processor for obtaining input data about traffic information through at least one of the input unit and the communication unit, obtaining base data used to determine the control of the auto-stop function from the input data, determining a control mode of the auto-stop function by using the base data and the auto-stop function control model, and controlling the auto-stop function according to the determined control mode, wherein the control mode is one of an activation mode for activating the auto-stop function and a deactivation mode for deactivating the auto-stop function.
