Abstract:
This invention is directed to the reduction of degradation in downlink signals in a case of performing a multicarrier transmission. A base station apparatus (eNB) comprises a simultaneous communication instructing unit (14) configured to instruct a user equipment (UE) to perform a simultaneous communication using a plurality of carriers. The simultaneous communication instructing unit (14) is also configured to decide whether or not to instruct the performance of the simultaneous communication using the plurality of carriers, based on at least one of the path loss between the base station apparatus (eNB) and the user equipment (UE), the downlink radio quality and the downlink channel status information.
