Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery charging method and charging system which can prevent degradation of a battery and enhance the life characteristics thereof. For instance, a battery charging method is disclosed which comprises: a high-rate charging step for charging a battery at a C-rate higher than a reference C-rate; and a low-rate charging step for charging the battery at a C-rate lower than the reference C-rate, wherein, in the high-rate charging step, a rest period for stopping charging the battery is allowed at least once.
