Abstract:
A battery has a battery cell (11) as a rectangular plate body, having a negative
terminal and a positive terminal that are arranged on an upper surface (11a) of
the battery cell; a negative terminal lead plate (12) placed on the upper surface
(11a) of the battery cell (11) and joined at one end to the negative terminal; a
positive terminal lead plate (13) joined at one end to the positive terminal;
and a battery base plate (14) having mounting metal plates (14c, 14d) at both ends
and electrically connected to the negative terminal and the positive terminal
through the mounting metal plates (14c, 14d), the mounting metal plates (14c,
14d) being placed on and joined to the negative terminal lead plate (12) and the
positive terminal lead plate (13), respectively.
