Abstract:
The plate-like portion of each separator has a sectional shape wherein vertically projected portions are alternately provided. The plate-like portion of each separator has a flat sectional shape. A plurality of separators are arranged in parallel so that two types of separators are alternately arranged. One surface of each battery cell is abutted with the plate-like portion of each separator, and the other surface is abutted with the plate-like portion of each separator. Thus, the distance between the battery cells adjacent to each other via the separator is identical to the thickness of the plate-like portion, and the distance between the battery cells adjacent to each other via the separator is identical to the thickness of the plate-like portion.
