Abstract:
A button control method for an electronic device, and the electronic device. The electronic device comprises a display screen and at least one button, and the display screen is a foldable screen. When a user uses the electronic device, a function to be responded by the button on the electronic device can be adaptively adjusted according to a physical form of the foldable screen of the electronic device, so that a button function conforming to usage habits of the user can also be provided under different physical forms of the foldable screen of the electronic device, thereby avoiding the problem that a function of the button on the electronic device is not synchronized with a normal usage function under different physical forms of the foldable screen of the electronic device, and improving user experience.
