Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an intra-frequency intra-system measurement method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The method comprises: a system detecting that an adjacent cell in an adjacent area is inter-frequency or inter-RAT with a current MN cell or current SN cell in a source area; sending a measurement instruction for intra-frequency intra-system measurement to a terminal by means of the current SN cell or the current MN cell that is intra-frequency and intra-RAT with the adjacent cell, wherein the measurement instruction is used for instructing the terminal to perform intra-frequency intra-system measurement on the adjacent cell. The present application can solve the problems in the related art that a terminal needs to start GAP to complete inter-system/inter-frequency measurement and starting GAP may affect the terminal performance, and interference is caused to adjacent cells because intra-frequency intra-RAT measurement is generally in priority, inter-frequency/inter-system measurement is started late, and an inter-frequency/inter-system cell cannot be timely switched to. Intra-frequency intra-RAT measurement is performed on adjacent areas in a centralized manner by the system without starting GAP, thereby reducing performance loss caused by GAP, and avoiding interference to adjacent intra-frequency intra-RAT cells to the maximum extent.
