Abstract:
The present invention realizes a capacitor which uses a plurality of fiber-like conductive members, and in which the number of occurrences of short paths is reduced without substantially diminishing capacitance density. Provided is a capacitor including a conductive substrate, a plurality of fiber-like conductive members disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the substrate, a dielectric layer covering the surfaces of the plurality of fiber-like conductive members, and a conductive layer covering the surface of the dielectric layer. Each among the plurality of fiber-like conductive members is constituted by a proximal half which is present near the surface of the substrate and a distal half which is present far from the surface of the substrate. Either the proximal halves or the distal halves have a greater number density of the plurality of fiber-like conductive members and a thicker dielectric layer than the other halves.
