Abstract:
Disclosed is a cell observation device, which is designed for saving user's trouble in manipulating cells that are contained in a culture container, comprising an observation stage (11) supporting the culture container (30), a macro image-capturing optical system (14) capturing a wide-range image of the culture container on the observation stage, a micro image-capturing optical system (18) capturing a local image within the wide-range image, and a controlling means (20) controlling a manipulation needle (22) for manipulating the cells in the culture container, wherein the micro image-capturing optical system faces to the macro image-capturing optical system with the observation stage being located therebetween.
