Abstract:
Disclosed is an aqueous chemical conversion liquid containing (A) a compound of Ge and/or Sn and/or Cu, (B) a compound of Ti and/or Zr, (C) a nitrate, (D) a compound of Al and/or Mg, (E) a Zn compound and (F) an F compound. A surface treating method for a metal structure using a chemical conversion liquid is also disclosed. The chemical conversion liquid and the surface treatment method provide a metal structure with excellent corrosion resistance, coating adhesion and throwing power for electrodeposition coating, while producing no sludge.
