Title:
NETWORK SYSTEM, MOBILE GATEWAY, POSITION MANAGEMENT SERVER, AND MOBILE NODE COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/001860
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a network system having a mobile gateway and performing communication with a mobile node, it is possible to optimize a communication channel between the mobile node and a communication partner while suppressing modification of the mobile node, the mobile node communication partner, and devices constituting the network. The mobile gateway includes: a communication monitor unit which monitors a communication state of the mobile node as a management object and acquires data indicating the communication state; a mobile process unit which performs registration of the position information relating to the mobile node into a position managing server and message transfer between the mobile node and the position management server; a home network modification report unit which generates a modification request to a new routing table containing a modified transfer destination of a message destined to the home address of the mobile node if the data indicating the communication state exceeds a threshold value; and a routing management unit which receives the modification request and reports the new routing table to the router.
