Description

A COMB FOR DYEING

Technical Field

[1] The present invention relates, in general, to a hair-dyeing comb, and more particularly, to a hair-dyeing comb which can be easily used and managed. Background Art

[2] Hair-dyeing is widely implemented for the functional use of coating premature gray hair or white hair and for the beauty-related use of producing a desired hair color or style.

[3] In order to accomplish these purposes, hair-dyeing is mainly implemented in a professional hair care shop such as a beauty parlor or a barbershop. However, because dyeing hair in a professional hair care shop costs a lot, there is a tendency to directly implement hair-dyeing at home.

[4] In order to implement hair-dyeing at home, in a first step, a user must prepare powder type hairdye, a vessel for accommodating the hairdye, and a comb for coating hair with liquid hairdye. In a second step, the powder type hairdye is poured into the vessel. In a third step, water is added to the powder type hairdye, and the powder type hairdye and water are evenly mixed with each other. In a fourth step, after dipping the comb in the mixed liquid hairdye, the liquid hairdye is coated on hair through combing.

[5] Although it is possible to directly implement hair-dyeing at home through the above-described steps, problems are caused in that the vessel and the comb must be separately prepared to implement hair-dyeing, and the used vessel and comb cannot be employed for other uses since they are stained with the hairdye.

[6] Further, in the third step of adding water to the powder type hairdye and evenly mixing the powder type hairdye and water with each other, since the powder type hairdye is not easily mixed with water, a substantial period is required to be ready for hair-dyeing.

[7] In order to cope with these problems, liquid type hairdye which replaces the powder type hairdye has been disclosed in the art. Nevertheless, even in this case, because a vessel and a comb must be separately prepared to implement hair-dyeing, it is cumbersome to be ready for hair-dyeing and inconvenient to implement hair-dyeing. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem

[8] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the problems occurring in the related art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a hair-

dyeing comb which incorporates implements needed for hair-dyeing and therefore is convenient to use.

[9] Another object of the present invention is to provide a hair-dyeing comb which can be easily assembled and disassembled to be conveniently washed or managed. Technical Solution

[10] In order to achieve the above objects, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hair-dyeing comb comprising an outer comb defined on an upper surface thereof with an outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove such that an injection rod can be received in the outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove, and having coupled thereto a plurality of outer comb-side comb teeth which downwardly extend; a receiving part for receiving a hairdye can; biasing means for biasing the hairdye can so that hairdye filled in the hairdye can be received in the receiving part can be injected; the injection rod received in the outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove of the outer comb to inject the hairdye filled in the hairdye can; and a knob section having an injection switch which is installed between the receiving part and the injection rod to switch injection of the hairdye filled in the hairdye can.

[11] According to another aspect of the present invention, the hair-dyeing comb further comprises an inner comb formed to have a configuration corresponding to that of the outer comb, defined on an upper surface thereof with an inner comb-side injection rod receiving groove such that the injection rod can be received in the inner comb-side injection rod receiving groove, and having coupled thereto a plurality of inner comb- side comb teeth which downwardly extend.

[12] According to another aspect of the present invention, the outer comb is formed with seating shoulders such that the inner comb can be seated on the seating shoulders, and the outer comb is formed with one of a fitting groove and a fitting projection and the inner comb is formed with the other of the fitting groove and the fitting projection such that the fitting projection can be fitted into the fitting groove to securely hold the inner comb seated on the outer comb.

[13] According to another aspect of the present invention, an injection bar is formed on and extends from a distal end of the injection rod, and is defined with injection holes through which hairdye is injected downwards.

[14] According to another aspect of the present invention, a scalp protection protuberance for protection of the scalp is formed on a distal end of each comb tooth of the outer comb.

[15] According to another aspect of the present invention, the outer comb-side comb teeth and the inner comb-side comb teeth are coupled to the outer comb or the inner

comb to be inclined toward a center portion of the corresponding comb.

[16] According to another aspect of the present invention, a sealing member is placed on an upper edge of the outer comb and is defined with outer comb-side locking holes at regular intervals, and wherein the hair-dyeing comb further comprises a protective cover which is defined with protective cover-side locking holes corresponding to the outer comb-side locking holes and is coupled to the upper edge of the outer comb by locking members.

[17] According to another aspect of the present invention, the outer comb is formed with an outer comb-side thread at an end thereof, the protective cover is formed with an protective cover-side thread corresponding to the outer comb-side thread, and the outer comb and the protective cover are fastened to each other by a fastening member which is threadedly coupled to the outer comb-side thread and the protective cover-side thread.

[18] According to another aspect of the present invention, an injection amount adjustment valve for adjusting an amount of injected hairdye is disposed between the receiving part and the injection switch of the knob section.

[19] According to still another aspect of the present invention, the biasing means of the knob section comprises a can biasing part which is rotatably coupled to the receiving part by a rotation hinge, a locking ring which is secured to an end of the can biasing part, a locking hook which is formed on a side of the receiving part and on which the locking ring is hooked, and an elastic member which is secured to an inner surface of the can biasing part to bias a bottom part of the hairdye can.

[20] According to yet still another aspect of the present invention, the biasing means of the knob section comprises a receiving part-side external thread which is formed on an end of the receiving part, and a biasing body which is formed on an end thereof with a biasing body-side internal thread to be threadedly coupled with the receiving part-side external thread and to which an elastic member for biasing the bottom part of the hairdye can is coupled.

Advantageous Effects

[21] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a hair-dyeing comb which can be easily assembled and disassembled and thereby is easy to wash and to replace the parts thereof.

[22] Also, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide the hair-dyeing comb which obviates the need to separately prepare a vessel for accommodating hairdye and mix the hairdye with water.

[23] That is to say, according to the present invention, due to the fact that an outer comb- side injection rod receiving groove is defined in an outer comb and an inner comb-side

injection rod receiving groove is defined in an inner comb which has a configuration corresponding to that of the outer comb, the outer comb, the inner comb, and other parts can be assembled and disassembled with and from one another, whereby it is possible to provide a hair-dyeing comb capable of being easily washed through disassembly thereof.

[24] In particular, due to the fact that the hair-dyeing comb comprises the outer comb and the inner comb and the inner comb is structured to be capable of being removed from the outer comb, the comb teeth of the outer comb and the inner comb are arranged in a quadruple manner. Hence, it is possible to implement hair-dyeing in a dense manner. Also, since the outer and inner combs can be disassembled from each other after use, it is easy to wash out the hairdye smeared on the comb.

[25] Further, because the outer comb, the inner comb and a knob section can be disassembled from one another, when the outer comb or the inner comb is partly damaged, only the damaged part needs to be replaced to allow the hair-dyeing comb to be properly used again. In addition, since the outer and inner combs which have various sizes can be assembled with each other depending upon the length of a user's hair and the amount of hair, it is possible to provide a hair-dyeing comb which can be appropriately used in conformity with the user's desire.

[26] Moreover, in the present invention, the knob section includes a receiving part for receiving a hairdye can and biasing means for biasing the hairdye can. Therefore, since only the hairdye can is able to be replaced and a new hairdye can is able to be received in the receiving part to allow the appropriate use of the hair-dyeing comb, the hair- dyeing comb can be semi-permanently used and a variety of hairdye can be used.

[27] Furthermore, because an injection switch for permitting the injection of the hairdye filled in the hairdye can is provided to the knob section, when using the hair-dyeing comb, the injection switch can be pressed to inject the hairdye in a simple manner.

[28] Meanwhile, in the present invention, the outer comb is formed with seating shoulders such that the inner comb can be seated on the seating shoulders, and the outer comb is formed with one of a fitting groove and a fitting projection and the inner comb is formed with the other of the fitting groove and the fitting projection. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the inner comb seated on the outer comb from jiggling while the hair-dyeing comb is used.

[29] Besides, in the present invention, an injection bar is formed on and extends from the distal end of an injection rod to downwardly inject hairdye. Therefore, the hairdye can be injected in an evenly distributed manner along the length of the hair-dyeing comb.

[30] Also, a scalp protection protuberance for protection of the scalp is formed on the distal end of each comb tooth of the outer comb. The hairdye is prevented to some extent from reaching and being brought into direct contact with the scalp, whereby

damage to the scalp can be avoided.

[31] Further, in the present invention, the outer comb-side comb teeth or the inner comb- side comb teeth are coupled to the outer comb or the inner comb to be inclined toward the center portion of the corresponding comb. Thus, injected hairdye is not scattered in an uncontrolled manner, but is collected in a triangular space defined by the comb teeth of the outer or inner comb, whereby the hairdye can be properly provided to the hair while the hair-dyeing is implemented.

[32] According to the present invention, as a sealing member is provided to the hair- dyeing comb, it is possible to prevent hairdye from leaking to the outside. [33] Further, the outer comb and a protective cover can be securely fastened to each other by an outer comb-side thread, a protective cover-side thread, and a fastening member. [34] An injection amount adjustment valve is provided to the knob section to allow the adjustment of the injection amount of hairdye. [35] In the present invention, the biasing means of the knob section comprises a rotation hinge, a locking ring, a locking hook, and an elastic member to bias the hairdye can. [36] Also, in the present invention, the biasing means of the knob section comprises a receiving part-side external thread, an elastic member, and a biasing body-side internal thread to bias the hairdye can in another way.

[76] First Embodiment

[77] Hereafter, a hair-dyeing comb in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGs. 1 through 5.

[78] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a hair-dyeing comb in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a partial exploded perspective view of the hair-dyeing comb in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a view illustrating the knob section of the hair-dyeing comb in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a procedure for assembling a protective cover to the hair- dyeing comb in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the biasing means of the hair-dyeing comb in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention.

[79] Referring to the drawings, the hair-dyeing comb 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention largely comprises an outer comb 120, an inner comb 130 and a knob section 150.

[80] The outer comb 120 is formed by coupling outer comb-side comb teeth 128 to an outer comb body 121 which is formed to have a hollow polygonal or circular sectional shape. In this embodiment, the outer comb body 121 is formed to have a hollow quadrangular sectional shape.

[81] An outer comb-side sealing member 125 which is defined with outer comb-side locking holes 122 is placed on the upper edge of the outer comb body 121. The outer comb-side locking holes 122 are defined to be used when coupling a protective cover 146 to the outer comb body 121. The outer comb-side sealing member 125 is formed of soft synthetic resin to prevent hairdye from leaking to the outside.

[82] Seating shoulders 127 are formed on the inner surface of the outer comb body 121.

Also, adjacent to the upper end of the outer comb body 121, a fastening groove 123 is defined on the inner surface of the outer comb body 121. The seating shoulders 127 and the fastening groove 123 are employed to fasten the inner comb 130 to the outer comb 120.

[83] While it is illustrated in the drawings that the fastening groove 123 is defined in the outer comb 120 and a fastening projection 133 is formed on the inner comb 130, it can be envisaged that the fastening projection is formed on the outer comb 120 and the

fastening groove is defined in the inner comb 130.

[84] The outer comb-side comb teeth 128, which are formed with scalp protection protuberances 129 at the distal ends thereof, are inclinedly coupled to the lower surface of the outer comb body 121. The scalp protection protuberances 129 are formed to prevent the scalp from being injured in a hair-dyeing procedure and to prevent hairdye from directly flowing to the scalp.

[85] The outer comb-side comb teeth 128 are inclinedly coupled to the outer comb body

121 such that hairdye can be collected on the outer comb-side comb teeth 128. Therefore, hairdye is prevented from flowing to the outside in an uncontrolled manner. Also, since the outer comb-side comb teeth 128 are coupled to the outer comb body 121 to be inclined to some extent, the hairdye is collected in the triangular space defined by the comb teeth 128 of the outer comb 120, whereby the hairdye can be properly provided to the hair while the hair-dyeing is implemented.

[86] The outer comb body 121 is formed with an outer comb-side thread 126 on an outer surface of an end thereof. The outer comb-side thread 126 is used to allow the outer comb body 121 to be securely coupled with the protective cover 146 by a fastening member 154. The upper surface of the outer comb body 121 is defined with an outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove 124 such that an injection rod 151 can be received in the outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove 124.

[87] The inner comb 130 is formed by coupling inner comb-side comb teeth 138 to an inner comb body 131 which is formed to have a hollow polygonal or circular sectional shape in correspondence to the outer comb body 121.

[88] In this embodiment, since the outer comb body 121 is formed to have a hollow quadrangular sectional shape, the inner comb body 131 is also formed to have a hollow quadrangular sectional shape.

[89] An inner comb-side sealing member 135 is placed on the upper edge of the inner comb body 131. The inner comb-side sealing member 135 is formed of soft synthetic resin to prevent hairdye from leaking to the outside. Inner comb-side comb teeth 138 are inclinedly coupled to the lower surface of the inner comb body 131 so that hairdye can be collected on the inner comb-side comb teeth 138. An inner comb-side injection rod receiving groove 134 is defined on the upper surface of the inner comb body 131 such that the injection rod 151 can be received in the inner comb-side injection rod receiving groove 134.

[90] A sealing packing 140 is formed of soft synthetic resin in the shape of a quadrangular frame in correspondence to the shape of the outer comb 120. The sealing packing 140 is defined with packing-side locking holes 141 which correspond to the outer comb-side locking holes 122 of the outer comb 120.

[91] The protective cover 146 is formed with protective cover-side locking holes 143

which correspond to the outer comb-side locking holes 122, and a protective cover- side thread 144 which corresponds to the outer comb-side thread 126.

[92] The knob section 150 has on one portion thereof a can receiving part 158 which defines a receiving space for receiving a hairdye can 190 and is defined at the other portion thereof with injection holes 153 for injecting hairdye filled in the hairdye can 190. The injection holes 153 are defined on the lower end of an injection bar 152 which is connected to an injection rod 151.

[93] An injection amount adjustment valve 156 is disposed on one end of the injection rod 151 to adjust the injection amount of the hairdye which is injected from the injection nozzle 191 inserted into an injection nozzle insertion groove 157 defined in the can receiving part 158. The injection of hairdye is activated by an injection switch 155.

[94] The hairdye can be injected only when the hairdye can 190 received in the can receiving part 158 is biased by external force and the injection nozzle 191 is pressed. Therefore, biasing means for biasing the hairdye can 190 is provided at the distal end of the knob section 150.

[95] In this embodiment, the biasing means comprises a can biasing part 161 which is rotatably coupled to the can receiving part 158 by a rotation hinge 160. A locking ring 162 is secured to an end of the can biasing part 161, and an elastic member 163 is secured to the inner surface of the can biasing part 161.

[96] A locking hook 159 which is to be mated with the locking ring 162 is formed on a side of the can receiving part 158. By hooking the locking ring 162 on the locking hook 159, as the elastic member 163 is compressed, the hairdye can 190 is biased by the elastic force of the elastic member 163.

[97] Hereafter, the assembly of the hair-dyeing comb 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[98] First, the inner comb 130 and the fastening projection 133 of the inner comb 130 are fitted onto and into the seating shoulders 127 and the fastening groove 123 of the outer comb 120.

[99] Second, the injection rod 151 is received in the outer comb-side injection rod receiving groove 124 of the outer comb 120 and the inner comb-side injection rod receiving groove 134 of the inner comb 130.

[100] Third, the sealing packing 140 is placed on the outer comb-side sealing member

125 of the outer comb 120, and then, the protective cover 146 is placed on the sealing packing 140.

[101] Fourth, the outer comb 120, the sealing packing 140 and the protective cover 146 are coupled with one another by means of locking members 145.

[102] Fifth, the fastening member 154 is threadedly coupled to the outer comb-side thread

126 and the protective cover-side thread 144.

[103] In these ways, the assembly of the hair-dyeing comb 100 in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention is completed. Meanwhile, when it is necessary to disassemble the hair-dyeing comb 100 for the purpose of washing or replacing parts, the hair-dyeing comb 100 can be disassembled through the reverse order.

[104] Hereinafter, the exemplary use of the hair-dyeing comb 100 in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. Before explaining the exemplary use, it is assumed that the assembly of the hair-dyeing comb 100 in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention is completed as described above.

[105] First, a user inserts the hairdye can 190 in the can receiving part 158. At this time, the injection nozzle 191 of the hairdye can 190 is inserted into the injection nozzle insertion groove 157.

[106] Second, the locking ring 162 is hooked on the locking hook 159. By this, the elastic member 163 biases the hairdye can 190.

[107] Third, an injection amount is adjusted through manipulating the injection amount adjustment valve 156. For example, in the case where the user's hair is long and the amount of hair is substantial, the injection amount can be increased, and in the case where the user's hair is short and the amount of hair is not substantial, the injection amount can be decreased.

[108] Fourth, the injection switch 155 is pressed. By this, the hairdye transmitted through the injection nozzle 191 is injected through the injection holes 153.

[109] Fifth, by moving the hair-dyeing comb 100 like combing hair, the hairdye is coated onto the hair.

[110] As can be readily seen from the above procedure, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, it is not necessary to separately prepare a vessel for accommodating hairdye and to mix hairdye with water. Also, the hair-dyeing can be simply implemented by moving the hair-dyeing comb 100 like combing hair. Mode for the Invention

[111] Second Embodiment

[112] Hereafter, a hair-dyeing comb in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 6.

[113] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating biasing means of a hair-dyeing comb in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention.

[114] Referring to FIG. 6, it is to be readily appreciated that the biasing means according to this second embodiment is different from the biasing means according to the first

embodiment in terms of structure.

[115] That is to say, in the biasing means of the hair-dyeing comb 200 according to this second embodiment, a receiving part-side external thread 259 is formed on the outer surface of an end of a can receiving part 258, and a biasing body-side internal thread 262 which is to be threadedly coupled with the receiving part-side external thread 259 is formed on the inner surface of an end of a biasing body 260.
