Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and apparatus, which are used so that messages of different services can be sent in the same path specified in an SR policy based on SR technology, thereby preventing the problem that large limitations exist in an implementation manner of dual-stack transformation, and improving communication efficiency. In the method, after receiving a first message, a first network device, according to a path specified by an SR policy, forwards the first message to a second network device; the destination endpoint specified by the SR policy is the second network device, and the identifier of the destination endpoint comprises a first IP address of the second network device and a second IP address of the second network device.
