An iron-containing material composite injection method and system. The method comprises the following steps: (i) crushing and grinding an iron-containing material, and then performing dehydration drying treatment and primary preheating pre-reduction treatment on the iron-containing material; (ii) performing secondary preheating pre-reduction treatment on the iron-containing material subjected to the primary preheating pre-reduction treatment; (iii) before pulverized coal, a flux, and the iron-containing material which is subjected to the secondary preheating pre-reduction treatment are injected into a smelting reduction furnace (7), premixing same in an injection pipeline, such that sensible heat carried by the iron-containing material preheats the pulverized coal and the flux; and (iv) injecting the premixed mixed material into the smelting reduction furnace (7). According to the method, the treatment efficiency of the iron-containing material is high, the flow of the method is short, the comprehensive utilization rate of energy is high, the coal consumption of an iron bath smelting reduction process can be reduced to 850 kg/t or below, and the heat efficiency is increased by 3-5%.
