Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device determining m uplink channels, wherein the m uplink channels comprise a first channel, the first channel comprises high-priority information and low-priority information, the m uplink channels overlap with each other in a time domain, and the sum of power of the m uplink channels is greater than the maximum transmit power of the terminal device; and the terminal device sending n uplink channels according to a first rule, wherein the n uplink channels fall within the m uplink channels, the first rule is a rule of transmit power distribution order of uplink channels, n is a positive integer less than or equal to m, and m is an integer greater than 1. By means of the method, power distribution order during multiplexing of cross-priority uplink channels (i.e. a first channel) is defined, such that the transmission of high-priority uplink control information can be ensured within the maximum transmit power which is allowed by a terminal device, thereby improving the transmission performance of a system.
