An electronic device. The electronic device comprises an interface, a voltage detection circuit and a processor. The interface is used for connecting a power supply device and comprises a first pin and a second pin, wherein the first pin is used for transmitting a data signal, and the second pin is used for transmitting a charging voltage signal. The voltage detection circuit is respectively connected to the first pin and the processor. The voltage detection circuit is used for detecting the voltage of the first pin. The processor is used for determining, when the power supply device transmits a charging voltage signal of a first voltage value to the second pin and the power supply device supports fast charging, a second voltage value according to the voltage of the first pin; and sending the second voltage value to the power supply device, the second voltage value being used for the power supply device to adjust the voltage value of the charging voltage signal to the second voltage value. In the present application, the situation of breakdown of device components connected to a charging interface in an electronic device can be reduced, and the damage to components in the electronic device is reduced.
