Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition for suppressing an increase in blood glucose level which comprises a heat stable substance as an active ingredient, a composition for suppressing an increase in blood glucose level which can be taken at any timing, i.e., not limited to before or during a meal and suppress an increase in postprandial blood glucose level, and a method for suppressing an increase in blood glucose level. The present invention pertains to a composition for suppressing an increase in blood glucose level, etc., said composition comprising isoxanthohumol as an active ingredient.
