Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a functional food composition which are for preventing or treating metabolic diseases, and comprise, as an active ingredient, a Tat peptide variant in which internal residue of a certain length is replaced by an aliphatic amino carboxylic acid. The composition of the present invention retains the fat reduction effect of natural Tat peptide and has remarkably increased water solubility and yield, and thus can be effectively used as a composition for treating metabolic diseases, said composition being easier to produce and having excellent biocompatibility.
