Description:
CONDOM PACKAGE Field of technology to which the invention pertains The invention belongs to the field of packaging products.

Technical problem.

The problem of mistaking the internal side (that goes directly on the penis) and the external side of the condom-that occurs while taking the condom out of the sack and its drawing on the penis-by the individual that is applying it, is resolved by a specific design of the condom sack and certain markings on the sack, as well as a particular design and marking of the label for the standard condom sack and specific method of their use, preventing complicates, unsafe, slow and improper use of condom that results from the confusion between the condom sides.

In case of confusion of internal and external side of the condom, when applying the wrongly turned condom, the same will not unfold and the situation will complicate, i. e. it is necessary to take off the condom that had been wrongly applied to the penis, turn it about and apply it properly, implying that during its turning it is necessary to push out to the other side the tip of the rolled condom.

Such a great number of contacts with the condom will increase the chance of damage to the condom which may cause the bursting of the condom, and, if in hurry to start with the penetration, one forgets to push out the top of the condom on the other side when turning it around (done with a finger is also unsafe), the top of the condom may remain pressed against the penis and the condom becomes dysfunctional, because the sperm cannot go to the foreseen tip of the condom. The time lapsed from the first attempt of the erroneous application, removal, reversal, reapplication of condom, is too long for the situation that immediately precedes the sexual intercourse, and the complicated process of application has a distracting effect, which all together may result in-loss of erection.

Also, it is well known that before the ejaculation at the end of the sexual intercourse, there is also ejaculation, only on a smaller scale, at the beginning of the sexual play. Thus, if there occurs a switch between the internal and external side of the condom, and the condom is applied to the penis overturned, the subject ejaculate might stick to the external side of the condom, so that once the condom is removed, turned over and applied correctly, the ejaculate that is now stuck on the outside of the condom may come into contact with the partner. This, first of all, jeopardizes the partner and there may be various consequences.

If there occurs the switch between the external and internal side of the condom, and the condom is applied to the penis overturned and unrolled-it might unfold but just in one part-on the wrong side, which is the case with quite many oiled condoms. A condom unrolled like this, with one side in the wrong direction, after turned over, cannot be applied properly and safely, or may even be unusable when unrolled in part in the wrong direction. Furthermore, the pulling on of condom may be continued but in the wrong direction which is of course not safe and mostly cannot be done.

The very thought, right before the sexual intercourse, of the problem of the switch between the internal and external side of the condom and the possible consequences may cause insecurity and anxiety in the user.

State of technology Former method of determining the internal and external side of the condom implies that on taking out the condom from the sack its tip protrudes towards the external side of the condom, due to the elastic forces of the packed condom, and it is possible to determine visually and by touch which is the external and thereby the internal side of the condom. Visually-by seeing the protruding tip, and tactilely-by touching it.

However, during the packing the condom is often folded and pressed, so that when it is taken out of the sack the tip does not protrude outside, but the wrinkled top remains flat, flush with the packed condom, or the tip protrudes towards the inside of the condom, and it is often the case that the lower half of the tip protrudes on one side and the upper on the other side.

When pressing the condom to one side of the sack in order to tear it open, which is a proper way to open the sack because this protects the condom from damage, the condom is wrinkled, which may also lead to the already mentioned consequences.

Especially the sensitive i. e. thin condoms do not have sufficient resilient force for the tip to protrude towards the external side, so that when taken out of the sack they mostly come out with the top wrinkled flush with the packed condom.

If a small opening is made on the sack while tearing the sack, when taking out the condom through this opening there might also occur crumpling or wrong protruding of the tip of the condom.

All these circumstances make the easy determination of external and internal side of the condom-former method-questionable, as well as its easy, safe and proper use.

The use of the condom in majority of cases occurs in the nocturnal situations i. e. conditions of poor or no visibility, which makes it impossible to perform the visual- and we have seen from previously indicated reasons-also tactile determination of the internal and external side of the condom even though the tip of the condom is protruding on the proper side. In this case the determination of the internal and external side cannot be made this way-which we try to a small degree by pulling on the condom on a finger.

If the condom starts unfolding, it is in a proper position, and vice versa.

In both of these cases applies the following : each touch with a finger (and thereby also by nail) may lead to microscopic damages of the condom that may cause the bursting of the condom. The already somewhat unfolded condom in the first case makes it difficult to apply on the penis, and the wrongly turned condom (in the other case) can also start unfolding on the finger (because the finger is quite thinner than the penis) in the wrong direction, so that this method does not provide a solution.

Presentation of the essence of invention A condom sack for easy determination of internal and external side of the condom (hereinafter: condom sack) consists of two square three-ply sides, welded on the edge.

The external surface of the external layer of one side of the sack is of standard flat i. e. smooth shape and single color, whereas the external side of the external layer of the other side of the condom sack, which is a novelty, rough, i. e. rib wrinkled in the form of thin, straight longitudinal pleats of square section with a certain distance between each. In the middle of the wrinkled surface, on a single-colored foundation, there is a characteristic sign-in the form of a circle with four arrows, that extend from the circumference and are directed to the center of the circle-made in double i. e. two lines-one next to the other, colored : one normal and the other fluorescent color. Below the mark is located the inscription"INTERNAL SIDE"also made with double lines next to each other: normal and fluorescent.

When packing the condoms in such sacks at the factory itself packaging is made so that the internal side of the folded condom i. e. the side that goes next to the penis is turned towards the side of the condom with pleated and marked surface.

The ribs on the given side of the sack make it possible to determine the side of the sack next to which the internal side of the condom is placed-by touch, so that the determination can be made even blindfolded. The sign in the form of a circle with four arrows turned towards the center of the circle, graphically showing the direction of pulling on the condom on the penis, as well as the inscription"INTERNAL SIDE"allow a visual observation of the sack side next to which the internal side of the condom is placed even under less visible circumstances, due to the use in one part of-fluorescent color.

The solution to the problem of switching the internal and external side of the condom was also solved in a way that on a standard (classical) condom sack, on the side on which the internal side of the condom is placed, at the hospital is affixed a self- adhesive plastic foil with identical ribs, sign and inscription as on the ribbed and marked area as in the previous design.

The wrinkled surface, sign and inscription in both designs can be reduced significantly so that only the surface within the reduced circle with arrows is wrinkled and the inscription significantly minimized. Discrete designation is thus achieved and room left for the inscription and markings of other nature.

The wording with couple of shown pictures on the use of the condom sack as well as the subject alternative design should be placed as a supplement to the standard instructions on the use of the condom.

We can observe by touch and visually which is the wrinkled, i. e. designated side of the condom and know that the internal side of the condom is next to it. We take the sack by turning the wrinkled side towards ourselves, open it and it is sufficient while taking out the condom from the sack to retain the identical position of holding the inner side of the condom-the position of holding the sack and the internal side of the condom will be turned towards us. Then, it is desirable to blow lightly into the side of the condom next to us, i. e. in the internal side of the condom, and the tip of the condom, if not already, will protrude to the right side.

A great number of alternative designs is possible for this invention in the sense of various: types of ribs, size of the wrinkled area, graphic and written designation, but the essence of the invention remains the same.

Detailed description of the invention Figure 1 and Figure 2 show the condom sack for easy determination of internal and external side of the condom consisting of : two square sides welded on the brim 6, of which each has three bound layers.

The first layer 2 on one side of the condom sack is identical to the first layer 12 of the other side of the condom sack. They are made of nylon foil and are located next to the condom 1 itself. the other layer 3 of one of the sides of the sack is identical to the other layer 13 of the other side, and is made of aluminum foil.

The third layer 5 on one side of the sack is the external layer and is made of plastic. The external surface 14 of this external layer 5 is of standard flat i. e. smooth shape and one-colored, and such is the surface of this layer turned towards the aluminum foil 13.

The third layer 4 of the other side of the sack is also the external layer and made of plastic. The external surface 7 of this external layer 4 is rough, i. e. wrinkled with ribs, in the form of : thin, straight, longitudinal pleats of square section, with a certain distance between each of them, whereas the surface of this layer which is made of aluminum foil 3-is flat. In the middle of the wrinkled surface 7, on a one-colored foundation there is a sign in the form of a circle with four arrows in a circle, which extend from the circumference and are directed to the center of the circle. The sign is made double, i. e. with two lines-one next to each other, which are colored : one normal 8, and the other in fluorescent color 9. There is an inscription below the sign"INTERNAL SIDE"made also with a double line-one next to the other; normal 10 and fluorescent color 11.

The position of the packed condom 1 with respect to the position of the external layers of the sacks is secured on packing the condoms in the sacks-at the factory and is such that the internal side of the condom (the side that comes next to the penis) is turned towards the side of the sack with marked and wrinkled surface 7.

Figure 3 and figure 4 show a self-adhesive, wrinkled and coated plastic foil for the standard condom sack, as well as the alternative solution of the problem of determining the internal and external side of the condom. It consists of a flat adhesive side 15 and the other marked and rib wrinkled 16, on a single colored foundation of which is placed a sign in the form of a circle with the arrows, made in lines: normal 17 and fluorescent color 18, one next to each other, and inscription"INTERNAL SIDE", made by the line of the normal 19 and line of the fluorescent color 20, one next to the other. The wrinkles and the markings of the self-adhesive plastic foil are completely identical with the wrinkles and the markings of the previously mentioned design.

The self-adhesive plastic foil is applied on the standard (already existing) condom sack at the factory, on the side of the sack, which is next to the internal side of the condom.

The text with the instructions of use of the condom sack for easy determination of the internal and external side of the condom, as well as the mentioned alternative solution, should be found as a supplement to the standard instructions for the use of the condom, and the procedure may also be presented with couple of additional indicative pictures.

We observe by touch and visually which is the marked, i. e. wrinkled side 7,17 of the sack and already know that next to it is the internal side of the condom. The sack is taken into the hands by turning the marked and wrinkled side 7,16 towards ourselves, i. e. so that the left and the right thumbs take the subject wrinkled side 7,16 and the index finger the smooth side 14 of the sack. We press the condom 1 to one side of the sack, tear the sack with one hand, throw away the torn part, and form the torn sack held in the position in the previously indicated way (but now with just one hand) take out the condom with the other hand with the same position of the thumb and the index finger as while holding the sack. This way we hold the condom knowing that its internal side is turned towards us. We take up the condom also with the other hand in the same way, and it is sufficient to blow lightly into the side of the condom next to us (i. e. the internal side of the condom) and if not already, the tip of the condom will protrude in the right direction. Further procedure of applying the condom is made according to the standard instructions for its use.
