Abstract:
Control equipment provided with agents, which each have a control unit that acquires the state of one of a plurality of phases and calculates an amount of operation for that phase and a learning unit that outputs a control law for maximizing an objective function, wherein: each control unit calculates the amount of operation using the control law; and each learning unit that calculates the control law for a downstream phase among the plurality of phases outputs downstream optimization data, which is optimization data retained by the learning unit, to the learning unit corresponding to an upstream phase among the plurality of phases that is located upstream of the downstream phase. The optimization data is one or more of the magnitude of a value, an expected value of the objective function, and evaluation values of the state of and the amount of operation for the phase. This makes it possible to reduce the computational load when globally optimizing a control target in which a plurality of devices or a plurality of procedures interact with each other.
