Abstract:
An ECU executes a program including a step (S102) of acquiring a catalyst temperature if an execution requirement of fuel reduction control is satisfied (YES in S100), a step (S104) of selecting a throttle opening depending on the catalyst temperature, a step (S106) of executing the fuel reduction control, and a step (S110) of executing recovery control from the fuel reduction control if a recovery requirement from the reduction control is satisfied (YES in S108).
