Abstract:
A cutting machine 10 comprises: a holding device 20 that holds a workpiece 1; a processing chamber 120 that houses the holding device 20; a cutting device 50 that cuts the workpiece 1 held by the holding device 20; a moving device 60 that moves the cutting device 50; a first housing chamber 150 that houses the moving device 60; an exhaust air duct 92 that is in communication with the processing chamber 120; and an intake air port 152 that is in communication with the first housing chamber 150. The first housing chamber 150 is provided with: a first wall 120U that separates the processing chamber 120 and the first housing chamber 150; and a first opening 125 that is formed in the first wall 120U and through which at least a portion of the cutting device 50 can pass.
