A data management device (10) comprises: a control data transmission unit (12) that transmits, through time-division multiplex communication, control data for controlling a plurality of machining devices (20) to the machining devices (20); a data collection unit (13) that collects operation data of the machining devices (20) and state data of each object handled by the machining devices (20); a time-slot division unit (14) that divides each period in the time-division multiplex communication into a first time slot for transmitting the control data and a second time slot for collecting the operation data and the state data; and a data management unit (15) that associates each of the periods with a pair of the operation data and the state data collected during the period and manages the same for each of the machining devices (20).
