A data processing device 1 includes: a data acquisition unit 151 that acquires reading data generated by reading an invoice; an extraction unit 152 that extracts, from the reading data acquired by the data acquisition unit 151, the invoice issuance date and an indicated payment due date which is the payment due date indicated on the invoice for the amount corresponding to the invoice; a transaction partner identification unit 153 that identifies the transaction partner which issued the invoice; a payment due date identification unit 154 that, on the basis of the transaction partner identified by the transaction partner identification unit 153, identifies a reference payment due date, which is the payment due date for the amount indicated on the invoice and which corresponds to the extracted issuance date or the current date; and an output unit 155 that outputs warning information if the indicated payment due date and the reference payment due date differ.
