Abstract:
A data synchronization method and server are provided in the present invention. In the embodiment method of the present invention, for the data in a locked state, when the initiator of the data synchronization request is the same as the locker of said preserved data, the data synchronization request of the user is permitted and the data synchronization is performed. In contrast with the process of unlocking first, then synchronizing, and then locking in the prior art, the signaling procedure can be saved and consumption of the network resources can be reduced; client operation is simple without the operation of unlocking and then locking; not only is the security of the data ensured, but also the user experience is improved.
