Abstract:
Disclosed are a dishwasher and a control method thereof. A dishwasher according to the present disclosure comprises: a display; a user interface; a memory storing at least one instruction; and at least one processor that executes the at least one instruction, wherein the at least one processor may: control, when power of the dishwasher is turned on, the display to display a first GUI corresponding to at least one dishwashing cycle; control, when a user input for selecting a dishwashing cycle through a user interface is received, the display to display a second GUI comprising an animation effect that represents dish loading information; and control, when a dishwashing operation starts on the basis of the selected dishwashing cycle, the display to display a third GUI that represents the dishwashing cycle and a dishwashing time.
