Abstract:
A display system (1) that, in order to display easily-seen display information in an arbitrary display area regardless of installation location, comprises: a projection device (10) that switches and projects emitted light from a spatial light modulator element toward a plurality of display areas; and a control device (20) that, on the basis of display conditions for the display information to be displayed in the plurality of display areas, performs control that switches the projection direction of the projected light from the projection device (10). The projection device (10) has: a reflecting mirror that is put into/taken out of the light path of the emitted light from the spatial light modulator element; and a light-path-switching means that, in accordance with the control performed by the control device, puts the reflecting mirror into/takes the reflection mirror out of the light path of the emitted light from the spatial light modulator element and thereby switches the projection direction of the projected light.
