Abstract:
A management server 20 is a device that can highly accurately avoid a collision with a monitoring target vehicle and can provide safer driving assistance even when a route and the like of the monitoring target cannot fully be recognized. The management server 20 provides information for causing driving assistance control to be executed in a target area which is an area including a plurality of installation points each at which an observation system 30 is installed and in which a plurality of travel routes from a first installation point to a second installation point exist. In particular, the management server 20 executes a process of collecting, in advance, the route and the like of each vehicle from the observation systems 30 as reference information and acquires a past passage frequency (frequency information) of each vehicle between two points on the basis of this reference information. Then, on the basis of the acquired frequency information and tendency of each tendency prediction target vehicle M2, the management server 20 executes a collision possibility estimation process that estimates a possibility of collision between a driving assistance target vehicle M1 and each tendency prediction target vehicle M2.
