Abstract:
This invention comprises a power supply housing part (50) from which a battery pack (80) can be detached as a power supply for usage outside a vehicle, and a vehicle-mounting-restriction mechanism (60) for restricting vehicle-mounting once the battery pack (80) has been fitted in the power supply housing part (50). This prevents a driving recorder having a function allowing use outside the vehicle from being adversely affected by heat from a battery power supply employed as a power supply for use outside the vehicle.
