Abstract:
A dust separating/dust collecting container and an electric cleaner centrifugally separate dust by a swirl flow occurring in a cylindrical container body, accumulate the dust at the same time, and then reliably collect the accumulated dust. A dust separating/dust collecting container section (7) comprises: a container body (33) having a closed-end cylindrical shape; a suction tube (34) connected to the container body (33) and generating a swirl flow (F) which flows along the inner periphery of the container body (33); a discharge tube (35) displaced to a position closer to one end of the container body (33) than the suction tube (34) and connected to the container body; a partition wall (37) having an opening (37a) located at substantially the center of the container body (33) and provided between the suction tube (34) and the discharge tube (35); and a separation wall (41) located closer to the other end (33b) of the container body (33) than the portion of the container body (33) to which the suction tube (34) is connected, the separation wall (41) having a gap (39) relative to the inner peripheral surface of the container body (33) and also having an opening (41a) located outside the centerline (C) of the container body (33).
