Abstract:

A dye-containing hardenable composition that has the property of high sensitivity, and that even when formed into a thin film at high dye concentration, excels in patternability, and that is free from dye solving out and ensures high productivity; and a color filter making use of the dye-containing hardenable composition and a process for producing the same. There is provided a dye-containing hardenable composition containing organic-solvent-soluble dye (A) and hardening agent (C), characterized in that the content of organic-solvent-soluble dye (A) based on all solid components is ≥ 45 mass% and the content of hardening agent (C) based on all solid components in the range of 20 to 55 mass%. Further, there are provided a color filter making use of the dye-containing hardenable composition and a process for producing the same.
