Abstract:
Provided is a dynamo-electric machine comprising a stator (100) having a plurality
of winding phases formed by a distributed winding, a rotor (10) having a plurality
of magnetic poles and an outer circumference confronting the stator (100), a
first groove (51A) formed in the outer circumference (13) of the rotor (10), a
second groove (51B) formed at such portions of the magnetic poles with respect
to the first groove (51A) as are positioned on the opposite side of a reference
magnetic pole (30A) and the closest to the first groove (51A), and a protrusion
(52) positioned between the first groove (51A) and the second groove (51B) and
regulated by the first and second grooves (51A and 51B). The ratio of the half
of the width of the protrusion in the circumferential direction of the rotor (10)
to the width of the first groove (51A) and the second groove (51B) in the circumferential
direction of the rotor (10) is set at 0.37 to 6.
