Abstract:

A stabilized electrode mixture paste applying method comprising the first step of paying out a core material (2) wound in a coil shape, the second step of immersing the core material into electrode mixture paste (5), the third step of regulating the coating amount of electrode mixture paste, the fourth step of drying a paste-coated sheet (6) coated at opposite surface with electrode mixture paste, and the fifth step of taking up the paste-coated sheet into a coil shape, wherein a seam welding step for joining the coils of the core material is provided between the first step and the second step, and this seam welding step uses as a welding electrode (91) metal containing molybdenum and/or tungsten and is provided with an air-cooling mechanism by means of compressed gas, whereby a potential trouble such as micro short-circuiting is eliminated and a trouble in a core material welding step can be avoided.
