Abstract:
Provided is an elevator control device capable of, with a simple configuration, causing a dynamic brake to act on an electric motor. The elevator control device controls a synchronous electric motor for rotationally driving a sheave, and comprises: an inverter part that supplies an alternating current voltage of a plurality of phases, converted from a direct current voltage, to the electric motor; and a control unit that controls the inverter part. The inverter part includes an upper arm configured from a plurality of switching elements corresponding respectively to the plurality of phases, and a lower arm configured from a plurality of switching elements corresponding respectively to the plurality of phases. When a rescue operation is performed, in which the elevator car is caused to move by torque acting on the sheave due to the difference between the weight of the elevator car and the weight of the counterweight, the control unit sets all of the switching elements that belong to one of the upper arm and the lower arm to OFF, and all of the switching elements that belong to the other of the upper arm and the lower arm to ON operation.
