Abstract:
The endoscope comprises an insertion part, a first bending mechanism, a driving unit, a second bending mechanism, a main operator body, a grip, an angling mechanism, an operator piece, and a control unit. On the grip or on the main operator body within the range of operation of one of the fingers of one hand when primarily the grip is grasped with the one hand and the angling mechanism is operated, the operator piece is provided so that the direction of input for inputting the second operation, which is bending the bending part of the insertion part in the second direction, aligns with the second direction.
