Abstract:
Provided is an engine-carrying flight device capable of stably hovering. An engine-carrying flight device 10 can fly in a hovering state, in which altitude is maintained, and in an ascending/descending state, in which altitude is changed. The engine-carrying flight device 10 comprises a main rotor 14, a sub-rotor 15, an engine 26, a motor 21, and an arithmetic and control unit 25. The main rotor 14 is rotated by the driving force given by the engine 26, the sub-rotor 15 is rotated by the driving force given by the motor 21, and the arithmetic and control unit 25 reduces the thrust generated by the rotation of the main rotor 14 with respect to the thrust required to maintain a constant altitude in the hovering state.
