Abstract:
The light-emitting device comprises a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix configuration in a first direction and a second direction that intersects the first direction. Each of the plurality of pixels arrayed in the matrix configuration comprises a substrate, a conductive alignment layer on the substrate, a first nitride semiconductor layer on the conductive alignment layer, a light-emitting layer-containing second nitride semiconductor layer on the first nitride semiconductor layer, and an electrode layer on the second nitride semiconductor layer. The first nitride semiconductor layer and the second nitride semiconductor layer are disposed in an island configuration, and the substrate is disposed in common to the plurality of matrix-arrayed pixels.
