Abstract:
Provided are a fatigue alleviation method and occupant assistance device, wherein: a determination is made as to whether the occupant of a vehicle is in a fatigue-prone state on the basis of vehicle information relating to the vehicle and the situation of the vicinity of the vehicle; and if it is determined that the occupant is in the fatigue-prone state, a fatigue alleviation unit is activated and the fatigue of the occupant is alleviated by stimuation of the occupant's brainstems.
