Abstract:
The fuel tank inerting method includes a pre-inspection inerting step (S01) and a post-inspection inerting step (S04). In the pre-inspection inerting step (S01), during pre-inspection inerting, a portion of a plurality of fuel tanks are filled with an inert gas having a higher pressure than the atmospheric pressure. In the post-inspection inerting step (S04), a portion of the high-pressure inert gas which fills said portion of the plurality of fuel tanks is supplied to other fuel tanks opened during the inspection and different from said portion of the plurality of fuel tanks.
