[Problem] To support, in the form of a line, flat surfaces to be supported at the edges of hexagonally shaped openings constituting a honeycomb structure. [Solution] A honeycomb structure has honeycomb-shaped opening edges on both surfaces, and the opening edges form a hexagonal honeycomb shape as a shape for connecting parallel edges (3) disposed parallel to each other to zigzag-shaped angled edges (4). The honeycomb structure is configured so that two sloped surfaces (1) that slope on a downward incline from the parallel edges (3) toward the center are connected on the inner side of the two facing parallel edges (3), and the bottom line in the center of the two sloped surfaces (1) form the parallel edge (3) of the honeycomb-shaped opening edge on the reverse surface. The honeycomb structure is furthermore configured so that the angled edges (4) connected to the facing parallel edges (3) are formed by the boundary edges (2a) of a tetracube (2), which is a tetrahedron, in which triangles (2X) are connected at the external peripheral edge. The other boundary edges (2b, 2c) of the tetracube (2) are the boundary between the two sloped surfaces (1) and the tetracube (2) and the boundary between adjacent tetracubes (2), and are arrayed along the angled edges (4).
