Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent occurrence of an invalid frame while suppressing power consumption. [Solution] This image processing device comprises: an ADC unit provided with a plurality of ADCs for converting pixel signals read from an image sensor, from an analog format to a digital format; and a selection unit that selects a use ADC number which is the number of ADCs to be used among the plurality of ADCs, on the basis of a pixel thinning-out rate in reading of the pixel signals from the image sensor, wherein, while the product of the use ADC number and the thinning-out rate is kept in a fixed state, the use ADC number and the thinning-out rate are switched.
