Abstract:
The present invention satisfies both time resolution and recording time even in cases in which there are fluctuations in the walking speed of a subject. Iris imaging devices (401 to 404) capture images of the irises of a moving subject. Images from the iris imaging devices (401 to 404) are written to transfer storage regions (521 to 524) of a memory (502). A reading device (504) reads the images stored in the transfer storage regions (521 to 524) to an image processing storage region (525) at frame intervals corresponding to the movement speed of the subject. An image processing unit (503) performs processing using the images read to the image processing storage region (525).
