Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to perform various signal processing with high reliability without depending on an external instruction. [Solution] An imaging device comprising: a pixel array unit including a plurality of pixels for performing photoelectric conversion; a converter for converting analog pixel signals output from the pixel array unit into digital pixel data; a first signal processing unit for performing first signal processing with respect to the digital pixel data; a second signal processing unit which performs, with respect to the digital pixel data or data obtained by performing at least some of the first signal processing, second signal processing which is at least partly in common with the first signal processing; a recognition processing unit which performs predetermined recognition processing on the basis of output data from the second signal processing unit; and an output interface unit which outputs output data from the first signal processing unit and/or output data from the recognition processing unit.
