Abstract:

Disclosed is an imaging system (10) provided with: a first control unit (11) for controlling, so as to be fixed at a prescribed position, a focus position relative to an iris imaging means for capturing an image focused on the iris of a subject; an authentication unit (12) for authenticating the subject on the basis of the iris image of the subject captured by the iris imaging means controlled by the first control unit (11); and a second control unit (13) for controlling the iris imaging means so as to scan the focus position over a prescribed range in order to re-authenticate the subject, when authentication of the subject has failed.
