Abstract:
This display device (1) has a plurality of sub pixels (SP), and comprises a substrate (2), a thin-film transistor layer (3), a light-emitting element layer (4), and a sealing layer (5) in this order. The thin-film transistor layer is provided with a planarization film (32) that covers a plurality of thin-film transistors (31), the light-emitting element layer is provided with a plurality of light-emitting elements (ES), and frame-like trenches (131) that respectively define light-emitting regions of the light-emitting elements are provided for each of the sub pixels in the planarization layer.
