An information processing device is disclosed for reducing wasted power consumption in an IoT system, the information processing device being provided with: a position information acquisition means for regularly acquiring position information for a data collection device and position information for a relay device that relays communication between the data collection device and a base station; and a control means for controlling measurement of signal strength between the data collection device and the relay device, on the basis of the position information of the data collection device and the position information of the relay device.
