An information processing device according to the present application is characterized by having: an acquisition unit for acquiring material information relating to a material for use in production of consumer goods, and production information relating to production of the consumer goods (for example, environment information relating to the environment in which the consumer goods are produced, stock information relating to the stocks of the consumer goods, the sizes of the consumer goods, whether or not the consumer goods are recyclable, and information indicating such as the load, on the natural environment, of energy for use in production of the consumer goods); a generation unit for generating environment load information relating to the load of the consumer goods on the natural environment, on the basis of the material information and the production information acquired by the acquisition unit; and an output unit for outputting the environment load information generated by the generation unit.
